What do CATS clients provide?
- A telephone and phone line with a nearby electrical power point dedicated to the CATS Alarm Unit.
- Relevant personal details such as doctor’s name and any medical conditions which might be helpful for control centre staff to be aware of. Such information is, of course, treated as strictly confidential.
- The names, addresses and telephone numbers of three contacts i.e. friends, neighbours or relatives, preferably key holders, who would be willing to visit if help were required.
"It has given is considerable peace of mind to know that …if she should get into difficulties she can call for help and someone local will come to assist her - and in the meantime she can stay on independently in her own home."
